Structural Engineer
My client is a firm of engineering consultants with a number of offices around the U.K.
They are now seeking a Structural Engineer who has some experience of design and experience of structural analysis to join them in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
You will use design software (e.g., TSD, Tedds) so some previous experience with this is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide design input for technical drawings, specifications, and materials.
- Work on diverse projects for various buildings using different materials.
- Support senior engineers and mentor graduates.

Offices are located across the UK.
They offer:
- Support for professionals pursuing chartered status (e.g., MICE or MIStructE).
Requirements
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Must be working towards chartered status (MICE or MIStructE).
- Experience with design software (e.g., TSD, Teddd).
- Current work experience in a UK-based consulting engineering firm.
- Full, clean UK driving licence (essential for site travel).
- Experience in:
- Detailed design
- Structural analysis
- Site inspections
- Strong communication skills (critical for liaising with contractors, clients, and other consultants).

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: £32,000 – £45,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience).
