Structural Integrity Engineer (Civil & Structural)

Structural Integrity Engineer (Civil & Structural)

A career at KBR can change the world — and change your life. If you’re ready, let’s get started.

The KBR team of teams delivers future-forward science, technology, and engineering solutions and mission-critical services that help governments and companies around the world accomplish their most important objectives, while also helping achieve their sustainability goals.

About the Role

You’ll join a specialist engineering team supporting critical infrastructure within a highly regulated, high-hazard environment. In this role, you’ll help ensure complex facilities are safe, compliant, and fit for purpose through robust civil engineering design and assessment.

This position is ideal if you have strong experience in civil or structural engineering and want to apply your expertise in a technically challenging and safety-critical setting.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Lead the delivery and assessment of civil and structural engineering design packages for complex infrastructure, ensuring all outputs meet stringent safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Support periodic safety reviews through site inspections, walkdowns, and technical documentation.
  • Define operational constraints and review maintenance procedures.
  • Assess asset integrity, material condition, and ageing mechanisms to support ongoing safe operation.
  • Work in a highly regulated environment and act as an intelligent customer, ensuring contractor deliverables meet contract and safety expectations.
  • Promote a strong safety and security culture across all activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
