Role Description
The Structural Project Engineer will work full time on-site in Harrogate, leading and supporting structural engineering projects from concept through delivery. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Performing structural analysis and design
- Preparing calculations and drawings
- Reviewing masonry and other structural elements for safety and compliance
- Coordinating with civil engineering teams
- Liaising with clients and project stakeholders
- Contributing to project planning and reporting
- Monitoring construction progress
- Addressing technical queries
- Ensuring that project timelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements are met

Qualifications
- Strong skills in Structural Engineering and Structural Analysis, including design of common structural materials and systems.
- Knowledge and practical experience in Civil Engineering for building and infrastructure projects.
- Experience with masonry design, detailing, and assessment in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
- Solid Project Management skills, including planning, coordination, and progress tracking across multiple stakeholders.
- Relevant engineering degree (e.g., Civil or Structural Engineering) and progress toward professional accreditation or chartership is beneficial.
- Proficiency with structural analysis and design software, and familiarity with applicable UK or international design codes.
- Effective communication, report writing, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to health, safety, and quality in engineering practice.
