- Supporting engineers with design duties while effectively managing your workload
- Preparing accurate drawings, models, and analytical information
- Applying your expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and BWB design standards to produce and coordinate outputs
- Collaborating with internal and external teams to build strong relationships
- Taking a proactive role in problem-solving, identifying risks, and proposing technical solutions
- Mentoring junior team members and sharing knowledge across the business
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a self-driven CAD professional with a mix of technical skill, creativity, and teamwork. To thrive at BWB, you’ll bring:
- Proficient AutoCAD and Revit abilities, including experience with multi-drawing coordination and x-refs
- Structural detailing experience, including work across multiple disciplines
- Strong knowledge of structural materials and systems:
- Steelwork
- Concrete
- Masonry
- Timber
- Foundations
- The ability to create clear sketches and detailed visuals to convey design ideas
- Competence in IT tools: Excel, Word, and Outlook, plus specialist structural software (e.g., CADS RC, Revit, 3D Max)
- Excellent communication skills, strong personal effectiveness, and the ability to plan, monitor, and prioritise workloads
