Redstone Commodity Search focus on offering 360° search solutions to the global commodities markets. Redstone Commodity Search are working with a company based in London who are looking to expand their structured commodity financing business.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • You will be responsible for origination, client development, and structured transactions for commodity financing opportunities within the metals, mining, and freight industry (physical financing, structured repo, pre-pays, etc.)
  • Provide working capital for trade opportunities
  • Work closely with the wider shipping business and existing clients to structure bespoke financing solutions
  • Utilize commercial skills and industry knowledge to onboard clients across the EMEA (metals, mining, and freight)
  • Take advantage of market trends and opportunities to increase business
  • Role reports into the Head of Desk

  • 2-5 years’ experience in a similar structured commodity finance role within a bank, trading house, utility, investment firm or fund, or from investment banking within the natural resources team.
  • Industry knowledge and experience within metals, mining, oil, gas, and/or freight is advantageous (coal, iron ore, metals, concentrates, petcoke, cement, etc.)
  • Driven with the ability to adapt when working on various different deals, structures, and transactions
  • Very strong commercial skills with the ability to originate and develop new business and client relationships
  • Located in the UK
