We are seeking a reliable and experienced Site Structures Technician to carry out structural investigations and materials testing across highways and construction projects throughout the UK. This is a hands-on role involving in-situ testing, structural surveys, and the collection of accurate site data to support engineering assessments and reporting. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered in line with relevant specifications, standards, and health & safety requirements. The role is site-based and will require regular travel, working away from home, and undertaking night shifts where project demands require. Projects will include a mix of highways, infrastructure, residential, and commercial structures. .

Key Responsibilities
Carry out concrete and asphalt coring operations in accordance with testing specifications Undertake in-situ testing on highways and structures (e.g. density testing, cover meter surveys, sampling, and structural investigations) Operate and maintain site equipment including coring rigs, drills, and testing apparatus Reinstate test locations safely following completion of works Accurately record site data, observations, and test results in line with company procedures Label, handle, and transport samples to the laboratory for further analysis Liaise effectively with site engineers, clients, and contractors Ensure all work complies with UK standards (BS EN, DMRB where applicable) Follow strict health & safety procedures, including traffic management requirements Carry out routine equipment checks and maintenance
