Structuring Analyst / Associate

About the Role

We are seeking a Structuring Analyst / Associate to join a leading Global Markets Structuring team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of Sales, Trading and clients, delivering innovative structured solutions across global financial markets.

The successful candidate will focus on supporting Financial Institution clients, ranging from private banks to large institutional investors, with a particular emphasis on structured credit solutions for both investment and hedging purposes.

This is a highly analytical, client-facing role offering exposure to complex transactions, product innovation and cross-functional collaboration within an international platform.

Key Responsibilities

Product Structuring & Client Solutions

  • Partner with Sales to originate and structure tailored investment and hedging solutions for Financial Institution clients.
  • Develop pricing strategies, product ideas and bespoke solutions across structured credit products.
  • Prepare high-quality client marketing and presentation materials for new and existing products.
  • Support client meetings by providing technical product expertise and market insights.
  • Execute transactions in partnership with Trading while ensuring adherence to internal pricing policies.
  • Deliver best-in-class execution throughout the entire transaction lifecycle, from pre-trade through to post-trade.

Product Development & Innovation

  • Contribute to the design and development of new structured products in response to client demand, market developments and regulatory changes.
  • Support the localisation and enhancement of existing product offerings.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends and product performance to identify new opportunities.
  • Assist in the development and automation of pricing tools, workflows and internal processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with regional Structuring teams to share ideas and deliver efficient global solutions.
  • Collaborate with Trading, Quantitative Research, Legal, Compliance, Risk Management and Operations to ensure successful transaction execution.
  • Support Sales teams through product education, technical training and ongoing market updates.

Risk & Governance

  • Ensure all structured solutions comply with internal risk frameworks, legal requirements and regulatory obligations.
  • Escalate and obtain appropriate approvals for transactions involving market, legal or credit risk.
  • Consider reputational, regulatory and compliance implications when designing client solutions.
  • Ensure recommendations remain aligned with client objectives and suitability requirements.

Reporting & Management Information

  • Maintain accurate reporting on transaction pipelines, execution activity, counterparty exposure and operational matters.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and business updates to senior management.
  • Support strategic initiatives and new business projects as required.

  • Experience within Global Markets Structuring, Structured Credit, Fixed Income or Derivatives.
  • Strong understanding of structured products, hedging solutions and investment products.
  • Knowledge of financial markets including credit, rates, FX and cross-asset products.
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to translate complex products into client solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage with internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
