Weekend rota working: Every other full weekend off. Saturday/Sunday weekend working are to cover essential morning and late afternoon duties.

Competitive salary
Branton Court stud is seeking to recruit a stud hand to join our small and friendly team in North Yorkshire. This person should be competent handling mares, foals and yearlings.
Daily Duties Include (but Not Limited To):
- Basic horse handling, grooming, turning out and bringing in
- Routine daily checks of the horses on the farm
- Mucking out
- Assisting with the vet or farrier
- Handling of mares, foals and yearlings

Skills:
- Previous stud experience preferred but training also available to the right candidate
- Tractor driving experience preferred but not required
- A good understanding of thoroughbreds and the breeding industry
- Driving License
