University Student Internship Opportunity – Help Fight Doomscrolling

Are you a university student who has ever opened TikTok or Instagram for “just 5 minutes” and found yourself still scrolling an hour later?

We’re looking for students to help test a new digital wellbeing companion designed to reduce doomscrolling, improve focus, and help people regain control of their time.

Our mission is simple: help students stop unhealthy scrolling habits in under 30 seconds without making them feel guilty or forcing them to completely disconnect.

What You’ll Do

  • Test the app during your normal daily routine.
  • Use the app whenever you catch yourself doomscrolling or reaching for social media.
  • Share feedback on how well it helps you regain focus and reduce unnecessary screen time.
  • Help shape new features that encourage healthier digital habits.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About the App

Instead of blocking social media or demanding long meditation sessions, our companion helps users recognise when they’re slipping into a scrolling loop and gently calms their attention in under 30 seconds.

The goal isn’t to stop people using social media, it’s to help them use it without losing hours of time.

By reducing unnecessary scrolling, students can cut down hours every week for studying, hobbies, sleep, exercise, or simply taking a genuine break.

If you’re interested in helping build a healthier relationship with technology and want to be part of creating a product that supports student wellbeing, we’d love to hear from you.
