We are now accepting applications for our 2026 Student Ambassador positions. This is a fixed-term, part-time role with flexible shift patterns, starting at the national minimum wage and requiring a minimum of 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities

As a Student Ambassador, you’ll be involved in a mix of engaging and operational tasks, including:

  • Help out with monthly events as per our student calendars
  • Create social media content to keep the community informed and promote events
  • Cover the front desk and assist students with enquiries, such as mail items
  • Maintain the look and feel of the building by reporting any issues and general cleaning
  • Provide general support to the maintenance team and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
  • Handle general admin support, including following up on email enquiries

Additionally, you are responsible for adhering to health and safety duties as outlined in Section 7 of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974. This includes taking care of yourself and others through actions or omissions, as well as cooperating with employers on health and safety matters.

Requirements

Here’s what you’ll need for this role:

  • A keen interest in supporting your community and running events
  • Good general skills, including:
    • Basic computer proficiency
    • Strong communication
    • Some knowledge or experience with social media
  • A reliable, trustworthy, friendly, and approachable personality
