Student Assistant – Sales Operations

Position: Student Assistant Location: UK Type: Part Time (20 hours per week) Salary: £17/hour Contract: Fixed-term (12 months) – Onsite / Hybrid

About The Role

Our Sales Operations team supports Marketing, Key Account Management, Sales, and Leadership with data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance business performance and growth.

We’re seeking a motivated student assistant to join our team and gain practical experience in a fast-paced consumer goods environment.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable sales insights
  • Prepare and interpret customer, market, and competitor analyses from multiple sources
  • Support ad-hoc requests and business queries with data-driven outputs
  • Maintain and administer product and customer data in internal systems
  • Assist in presentation preparation, reporting, and general administrative tasks
  • Offer CRM system support, including first-line assistance to the sales team
  • Collaborate with CRM, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure data accuracy and reporting consistency

What You’ll Bring

✔ Currently studying (ideally in Business, Economics, or a related field) ✔ Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data and analysis ✔ Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw clear conclusions ✔ Some practical experience (internship or placement), ideally within FMCG or a commercial environment ✔ Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills and a structured approach ✔ Proactive, hands-on attitude—able to work independently and collaboratively ✔ Fluent in English (written and spoken) ✔ Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
