Student Chef
Student Chef – Capital City College, London
Are you ready to make an impact at one of London’s leading Further Education providers? Capital City College is looking for a skilled Student Chef to support and drive key operational functions, helping shape the future of education in the heart of London.
About the Role
This role is offered on an hourly paid basis.
- Prepare high-quality dishes under the supervision of senior chefs
- Work as part of a professional kitchen brigade across a range of sections
- Support busy service periods, including lunchtime and evening service
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards
- Contribute to menu preparation, prep work, and stock rotation
- Provide a warm, welcoming experience for customers
What We’re Looking For
✔ Students currently enrolled in a Hospitality or Culinary Arts programme ✔ A genuine interest in professional cookery and kitchen operations ✔ Strong time-keeping, communication, and teamwork skills ✔ Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and develop new techniques ✔ Reliability and a positive attitude, especially during busy service
