Student Chef
Make a Meaningful Impact Behind the Scenes at Capital City College
Are you ready to make an impact at one of London’s leading Further Education providers? Capital City College (CCC) is looking for a skilled Student Chef to support and drive key operational functions, helping shape the future of education in the heart of London.
About The Role
This role is offered on an hourly paid basis. Your key responsibilities include:
- Preparing high-quality dishes under the supervision of senior chefs
- Working as part of a professional kitchen brigade across various operational sections
- Supporting busy service periods, including lunchtime and evening service
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards
- Contributing to menu preparation, prep work, and stock rotation
- Delivering a warm, welcoming experience for customers
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking students who meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled in a Hospitality or Culinary Arts program
- A genuine interest in professional cookery and kitchen operations
- Strong time-keeping, communication, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and refine techniques
- Demonstrated reliability with a positive attitude, particularly during busy periods
