Program and Community Manager - AWS Developer Relations
We are seeking a dynamic Program and Community Manager to join the AWS Developer Relations team in London. This hybrid role combines program management excellence with community engagement expertise to drive developer success and adoption of AWS services. You will be responsible for planning and executing strategic programs while supporting student communities across EMEA, working closely with Developer Advocates and cross-functional teams to maximize impact.
Key Job Responsibilities
Program Management (50%):
- Drive strategy and execution for student-focused programs, including first-party AWS and third-party community events
- Manage complex, cross-functional initiatives to scale the impact of Developer Advocates
- Create and maintain program dashboards, metrics, and reporting mechanisms to track success and demonstrate business value
- Optimize processes and introduce automation to improve team efficiency and content production workflows
- Partner with internal stakeholders to align student developer programs with broader business objectives
- Manage program budgets and vendor relationships effectively
Community Management (50%):
- Own the EMEA program for Student Communities engagement, engaging with academic institutions, supporting the Developer Advocates' work and being the regional Community Manager for the AWS Student Builder Group program, including growth strategy and health metrics
- Track student engagement metrics and adjust strategy based on changing needs
- Create feedback loops between the student community and internal AWS teams
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders in educational institutions across EMEA

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in professional non-internship marketing
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns
- Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
- Experience working with end user or developer communities

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in multi-territory campaign management
- Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process
- Knowledge of project management tools
- Experience equally comfortable building strategic marketing plans and executing at a tactical level
- Experience engaging with student communities
