Student Funding Manager
Maternity Cover Role – Mature/Family Support Bursary Administrator
Role Overview
Contract: Maternity cover for 6 to 9 months (Full-Time, 35 hours per week)
Salary: £41,989 per annum
As a member of the Finance team, you will report to the Depute Head of Finance. This role focuses on managing the bursary and financial support programs for students, with key responsibilities including:
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing student financial needs
- Processing funding applications
- Ensuring fair and efficient distribution of financial aid
- Providing a high standard of customer care to applicants
- Maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
- Line managing the Student Funding team and delegating responsibilities
- Ensuring transparent processing records, particularly with applicant financial data and applications

Qualifications & Experience
- Prior experience in student funding or bursary roles
- Knowledge of regime or compliance frameworks in education funding
