Job Description

The Student Hub is seeking two passionate and motivated Student Hub Coordinators to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Role Overview

As a Student Hub Coordinator, you will manage a caseload of students with complex or multifaceted circumstances, providing proactive support to overcome barriers to success and enhance student engagement, progression, and retention. Acting as a key point of contact, you will deliver specialist advice and guidance across a range of areas, including fees and funding, accommodation, academic progression, wellbeing, and disability support. You will work closely with colleagues across the University to coordinate timely and effective support tailored to individual student needs.

You will use engagement data and student information to identify those at risk of disengagement, working collaboratively with specialist services to support positive outcomes. The role also involves promoting the Student Hub through communications, events, and outreach activities.

The role requires flexibility to work a rotating 7-hour shift pattern between 08:00 and 18:00 across Student Hub locations, including Winchester. Occasional evening and weekend working will also be required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
