Senior Student Immigration Compliance Officer
37 hours per week - Talbot Campus University
Are you an expert in UK student immigration compliance with a keen eye for detail and a passion for supporting students? We are looking for a Student Immigration Compliance Officer to play a key role in ensuring compliance with UKVI regulations while delivering an excellent service to students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on student immigration compliance and engagement monitoring, ensuring adherence to UKVI regulations.
- Manage reporting through the UKVI Sponsorship Management System (SMS) and act as a Level 1 User.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to staff and students on student visa and immigration matters.
- Monitor student attendance, engagement, registrations and changes in circumstances.
- Analyse compliance data, identify trends, and produce regular management reports.
- Develop and deliver training to colleagues across the University.
- Support audits, maintain accurate records, and contribute to continuous service improvements.
- Act as a key contact with UKVI and external sector bodies where required.

ABOUT YOU
- Strong knowledge of UK student immigration legislation and compliance requirements within Higher Education - this is essential.
- Experience providing advice, guidance and support in a customer-focused environment.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and confidence working with complex data.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex regulations clearly to a range of stakeholders.
- Experience with student record systems and UKVI Sponsorship Management System (desirable).

This is a temporary assignment for a minimum of 3 months - hybrid to start (3 days on site) fully office based from September with the new students enrolling.
£16.00 - £19.00 an hour DOE
