Student Placement Contracts and Pricing

Pricing & Contracting Intern – 12-Month Opportunity

Seeking a motivated, curious, and detail-oriented intern to join our Pricing & Contracting team—perfect for students pursuing Finance, Business, or Commercial Operations. This role offers hands-on experience in strategic offer development, tender responses, and contract execution, with opportunities to embrace AI and emerging technologies. Internship Details

  • Start date: 1st September 2026
  • Duration: 12 months
  • Working hours: 37.5 hrs/week (flexible for exams/holidays)
  • Working model: Hybrid (minimum 2 days in-office)
  • Location: Watford, Hertfordshire

Responsibilities

Your work will support mission-critical initiatives, including:

  • Supporting Submissions:
    • Actively coordinate and draft high-impact offer and bid responses, aligning proposals with NHS priorities and demonstrating real-world value.
  • Project Management Support:
    • Collaborate on programme timelines, track milestones, and contribute to healthcare outcomes initiatives.
  • Data Analysis & Business Intelligence:
    • Build on Excel skills while learning tools like Vendavo and Power BI to analyse data, generate insights, and support pricing strategies.
  • Document Coordination:
    • Assist in creating/reviewing contracts, reports, templates, and communication materials for clarity and impact.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work with senior pricing teams and stakeholders to bridge market needs, customer expectations, and internal capabilities.
  • Workload Management:
    • Balance multiple deadlines, prioritise tasks, and adapt to evolving priorities—ensuring accuracy and deliverables meet stated timelines.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Law, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure.
  • Proactive problem-solving and analytical mindset.
  • Clear written/verbal communication, with confidence in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Team-oriented approach with openness to learning in a fast-paced environment.
