Internship Overview
We are seeking a motivated, curious, and detail-oriented intern to join our Pricing & Contracting team for a student pursuing a career in Finance, Business, or Commercial Operations. This opportunity offers:
- Hands-on experience in the healthcare/MedTech sector
- Contribution to strategic offer development, tenders, and contract execution
- Open-mindedness to emergent technologies, AI adoption, and process improvement
Key Details
- Start date: 1st September 2026
- Duration: 12 months
- Hours: 37.5h/week (adaptable for exams/holidays)
- Working model: Hybrid (at least 2 days in-office)
- Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Responsibilities
Here are some core tasks you may undertake— additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed:

Support Submissions
- Actively coordinate and prepare high-impact bid/offer responses, aligning proposals with NHS priorities and showcasing real-world value.

Project Management
- Collaborate to maintain project timelines, track milestones, and support healthcare programmes with better outcomes.

Data Analysis & Business Intelligence
- Utilise and expand your Excel skills; learn tools like Vendavo and Power BI to generate insights, refine pricing strategies, and drive informed decision-making.

Documentation & Coordination
- Assist in drafting/reviewing key documents, including reports, templates, contracts, and communication tools to enhance clarity and impact.

Team Collaboration
- Interface with cross-functional teams and senior pricing strategists to ensure deliverables meet market/clinical demands and internal operational capacity.

Workload Management
- Effectively balance multitasks/deadlines, prioritise workload, and maintain precision to support organisational goals.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Studying for a degree in Business, Finance, Law, Economics, or a relevant field.
- Strong MS Excel proficiency (from coursework/media).
- Attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure.
- Proactive problem-solving and analytical approach.
- Clear written/verbal communication to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Adapts comfortably to fast-paced, collaborative environments.
Nice-to-Haves
- Previous experience in Excel-related work during coursework, internships, or part-time roles.
- Familiarity with commercial contracts, pricing strategy, or their implications.
- Enthusiasm for AI/emerging tech and a keen desire to grow equipment/interpretation of new tools.
- Heightened curiosity about contracts as business-growth enablers.
