Description

Our 12-month Student Placement offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across key areas of hotel operations through a structured rotational programme. Working alongside experienced hospitality professionals, you'll receive training and mentoring while developing practical skills, building confidence, and gaining valuable insights into hotel operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

No two days will be the same. You'll meet people from around the world, work as part of a supportive team, and gain experience in a fast-paced environment where every interaction matters. One moment you may be helping a guest celebrate a special occasion, the next you'll be collaborating with colleagues to ensure service runs smoothly or finding solutions to enhance a guest's stay.

This placement is designed for students who are enthusiastic about hospitality, enjoy meeting new people and are eager to develop their customer service and communication skills. We are looking for individuals who bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a collaborative approach to everything they do.

What You Will Do In This Splendid Role

During your 12-month placement, this is what you will be up to:

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and excellent guest satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by adapting to different departments, tasks, and operational priorities throughout the placement.
  • Take an active role in training and development opportunities, seeking feedback to build confidence, skills, and industry knowledge.
  • Uphold the Company's and hotel's values, policies, and procedures while contributing positively to an inclusive and supportive team culture.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
