About the Role
As a Progress Coach, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and developing our students as part of our exceptional support staff. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive advisory and pastoral support to students and potential students
- Delivering impartial guidance, a comprehensive programme of group tutorials, and pre-course information
- Arranging and providing on-programme non-academic tutorial support for students
- Ensuring effective safeguarding by liaising with external agencies, conducting reviews, and monitoring student progress
- Setting meaningful and achievable goals while maintaining accurate student records
Responsibilities
- Providing guidance and pastoral care tailored to individual and group needs
- Delivering informational sessions and tutorials to support student progression
- Collaborating with external agencies involved in student safeguarding
- Establishing and monitoring developmental goals for students
- Organising and participating in relevant professional development training

Requirements
- **NVQ Level 3 in Advice and Guidance or equivalent experience
- Strong background in guidance-related roles and knowledge of further education and academic progression routes
- Excellent presentation, communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient IT skills
- Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy (equivalent to GCSE in Maths and English or similar)
- Demonstrated commitment to safeguarding students and vulnerability
