We are looking for two new Student Recruitment Graduate Assistants to help shape how future students discover and experience Cardiff Met.

Guided by the Student Recruitment Manager, you’ll play an important role in helping prospective students explore their higher education options and discover what Cardiff Met can offer.

Drawing on your own experience as a Cardiff Met graduate, you’ll engage with students, parents, teachers and advisers through a variety of recruitment activities across Wales and the UK. You’ll represent the University at events, deliver presentations and help us connect with students from a wide range of backgrounds.

Your work will directly support our student recruitment and conversion plans, helping more students feel informed, confident and excited about their future.

Additionally, you’ll

  • Support the delivery of on-campus recruitment events, including Open Days and Applicant Days.
  • Represent Cardiff Met at higher education fairs, school and college events, and parents' evenings across Wales and the UK.
  • Support prospective student calling and engagement campaigns.
  • Help recruit, train and support Student Ambassadors.
  • Gather and share market insight from schools and colleges to help shape future recruitment activity.
  • Provide administrative support for recruitment events and activities.

The role includes regular travel throughout Wales and the UK. Some evening and weekend work will be required, with occasional overnight stays.

What You’ll Bring

As a Cardiff Metropolitan University graduate who has completed your degree in the last three years, you'll be passionate about helping others take their next step into higher education.

You'll be confident communicating with different audiences, able to share your experiences in an engaging way, and comfortable representing Cardiff Met in a variety of settings.

You’ll Also Have

  • Knowledge of the Higher Education application process and routes into Higher Education.
  • Knowledge of Cardiff Met's undergraduate, postgraduate and short-course portfolio.
  • Experience delivering presentations to groups of different sizes.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills.
  • The ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
  • A full driving licence.
