Student Services Coordinator
Full-time; on site – Central Oxford
Salary: In the region of £27,500 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
Job Purpose
The Student Services Coordinator is the first point of contact for students, parents, visitors and staff, playing a key role in creating a welcoming, professional and supportive environment throughout the school. This role is responsible for the smooth day-to-day administration of the site, providing exceptional front-of-house service while supporting operational, financial and administrative functions. The successful candidate will build positive relationships with students and families, ensure the efficient running of reception and contribute to maintaining the high standards expected within a premium independent school.

- Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.

- A proactive, solution-focused approach to work.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Desirable
- Professional experience in an educational setting.
- Previous experience working with children or young people.
- An understanding of SEND and experience supporting individuals with additional needs.
- Safeguarding and/or First Aid qualifications.
- An understanding of the importance of safeguarding and student welfare.
- Confidence in using social media for professional purposes.
Key Responsibilities
Front of House
- Act as the first point of contact for students, parents, visitors and staff.
- Manage the school's reception area and the Common Room, ensuring it remains welcoming, organised and presentable at all times.
- Coordinate visitor sign-in procedures in line with safeguarding requirements.
Student & Parent Support
- Build positive and professional relationships with students and their families.
- Support students with day-to-day enquiries and provide a calm and reassuring presence within the school.
- Liaise with parents regarding attendance, appointments, taxis and general enquiries.
- Coordinate taxi bookings and transport arrangements where required.
Administration & Finance
- Monitor student attendance and follow established attendance procedures.
- Maintain accurate student records, administrative documentation and financial records.
- Prepare letters, reports and school documentation.
- Support the day-to-day financial administration of the school, including maintaining payment records and monitoring outstanding invoices.
- Assist with petty cash administration and ensure financial trackers remain accurate and up to date.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and other documentation as required.
- Assist with social media content where required.
