Learner Support Team

Student Support Assistant

FTE: 0.743244 (37 hours per week, 33 weeks per year - part time hours will be considered)

Start time: between 8.30am and 9.00am

End time: 4:00pm and 5.00pm. Minimum 15 hours per week, choice of days to work.

Salary: from £19,377.85 to £20,648.06 (Pro Rata from £26,072.00 to £28,781.00, salary includes the August 2026 pay increase and depends on qualifications and experience)

Closing date: 03/07/2026

Interviews will take place on: 09/07/2026

This is an exciting opportunity to work within BCoT's support team to deliver in class support across all college lessons to learners with EHCPs who have a variety of learning needs. You will work closely with the curriculum teams to ensure there is effective support. The successful candidate will constantly strive to produce outstanding learning at all times to ensure that all learners succeed in their chosen programmes.

We are particularly keen for people to apply who have skills/expertise and knowledge within:

  • Maths and English
  • Foundation learning programmes

Please note:
