About the Team:

At SRUC, we believe every student should have the opportunity to succeed, regardless of the challenges they may face along the way. Our Student Support team plays a vital role in making that happen, providing personalised educational, financial, and well being support that helps students overcome barriers and achieve their goals.

As a Student Support Tutor, you'll join a collaborative and caring team that works closely with academic colleagues, specialist services, and external partners to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. It's a rewarding role where you'll build meaningful relationships, make a tangible difference to students' lives, and help ensure every learner feels empowered to reach their full potential.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Student Support Tutor to provide high-quality educational, financial, and pastoral support to students across SRUC. The role involves assessing individual needs, coordinating appropriate learning and well being support, and ensuring reasonable adjustments are implemented in line with the Equality Act. You will offer guidance on student funding, assist with applications to bursaries and support schemes, and help students navigate financial challenges affecting their studies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
