Student Voice Coordinator

Role Overview
Job Category: Administrative Employment Type: Permanent, Part-time (28 hours per week) Salary: £20,967.50 per annum (pro-rata, equivalent to £26,209.37 full-time) Location: Peterborough
A unique, dynamic, and engaging role where every day brings diversity in responsibilities. As the Student Voice Coordinator, you’ll be integral to shaping democratic processes, student leadership, and representation at Anglia Ruskin University.
Key Responsibilities

Elections & Leadership Support:
- Organise and promote Course Representative elections, including in-class voting and campus ballot stations.
- Facilitate recruitment and training for volunteer Student Leads, Course Reps, and elected Officers.

Training & Development:
- Design and deliver training sessions to empower student representatives with skills in advocacy, communication, and democratic engagement.
- Offer ongoing support to ensure reps can effectively represent their peers.

Events & Engagement:
- Plan and deliver Student Assemblies, committee meetings, and University Feedback Forums.
- Contribute to major events like Welcome Week and cross-campus activities.
- Develop "You Said, We Did" reports to transparently showcase student impact.

Administrative & Communication:
- Maintain records, databases, and online resources, including the Rep Hub webpages.
- Produce briefing notes, reports, and campaign materials.
- Act as the first point of contact for students, ensuring a high standard of customer service and support.

Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and nurture relationships with academic staff, University leaders, and student communities to bridge student voices with institutional decisions.
