Company Description
RISEWAY SUPPORT “Walking Alongside You” is a community-led organization focused on empowering African, Caribbean, Dual-Heritage, asylum-seeking, migrant and ethnically diverse men across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. The organization provides culturally competent, trauma-informed support to individuals experiencing discrimination, homelessness, trauma, exploitation, mental health challenges, substance misuse, immigration stress and social isolation. Its work is grounded in lived experience, anti-racist practice and a clear understanding of the barriers faced when accessing mainstream services, aiming to ensure that people are heard, respected and not overlooked. Through outreach, advocacy, safeguarding, mentoring and partnership with local authorities, community groups, faith organizations and statutory services, RISEWAY SUPPORT helps individuals rebuild stability, confidence and wellbeing. The mission is to help ethnically diverse men rise, recover and rebuild safely, confidently and with community behind them.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
