Student worker Full-Stack Developer – Food Tech
Location: Ghent (on-site with hybrid working options)

Key responsibilities
As a Student Full-Stack Developer At Shelfion, You Will
- Develop frontend components in React, working closely with the designer.
- Implement and extend backend logic in TypeScript, translating scientific concepts into software logic.
- Support deployments and infrastructure tasks within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Ensure code quality and documentation suitable for a science-driven B2B environment.
- Learn and contribute to software development end-to-end, from idea to production.
Your profile
- Currently studying IT, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Interested in full-stack development and excited to learn both frontend and backend skill.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, React, or similar languages/frameworks is a plus, but enthusiasm and willingness to learn are more important.
- Curious about applied science or decision-support systems and eager to see how software supports real-world problems.
- Comfortable taking responsibility for your work while learning and growing.
- Eager to learn: we value curiosity, initiative, and a hands-on attitude over ticking every technical box.
- Motivated to gain practical experience in a start-up environment and contribute to meaningful projects.
