Studio Lead - In House Creative Agency

# Studio Lead - In-House Creative Agency

Req ID: 60300 Job Function: Brand and Marketing Posting Dates: 02/07/2026 – 16/07/2026 Division: Consumer Job Location: GBR-London, BTHQ One Braham Avenue Working Model: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote) Salary: Competitive with excellent benefits

About the Role

The Studio Lead is the operational core of BT Group’s in-house creative agency, driving a transformative consolidation of three separate creative studios into a unified model. This isn’t merely coordination—it’s a role centred on governance, enabling innovation, and safeguarding team performance, quality, and wellbeing.

You will become the Front Door into the Studio, the single point of accountability for every incoming brief. You’ll assess readiness to proceed, push back when necessary, and shield the team from overloading or workflow chaos. Additionally, you’ll act as the definitive resource tracker—ensuring the right people with the right skills are assigned to projects, and that the business maintains open visibility on capacity and skill gaps.

Reporting directly to the Principal Operations Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in analysing how the studios function today while shaping their future operational framework.

Key Responsibilities

Front Door & Brief Management

  • Validate every incoming brief for clarity, scope, and feasibility before escalation to the team.
  • Collaborate with Client Services Managers to optimise workflow efficiency, planning, and execution.
  • Ensure briefs align with deliverable timelines, resource availability, and studio capabilities—raised as urgently as they are misaligned.

Resource & Capacity Management

  • Maintain real-time capacity tracking across the studio using Monday (interim) and Screendragon (future).
  • Allocate assignments based on skill fit, workload levels, personality alignment, and project needs.
  • Proactively flag capacity bottlenecks and risks to the Principal Operations Manager to prevent last-minute delivery issues.
  • Build a forward-looking pipeline analysis, forecasting peaks and pressure points to pre-empt resourcing shortages.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
