Studio Manager
Studio / Operations Manager | 6-Month Contract | Outside IR35 | Fully Remote
We're looking for an experienced Studio / Operations Manager to join a growing creative team on an initial 6-month contract. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives on improving processes, challenging the status quo, and bringing structure and efficiency to a fast-paced creative environment.
This role goes beyond traditional traffic or studio management. We're seeking a commercially minded operational leader who can partner closely with creative leadership, review existing ways of working, and introduce smarter, more effective processes that enable teams to do their best work.
The Role
Working alongside the Creative Lead, you'll assess how the team currently operates, identify areas for improvement, and implement practical solutions that drive efficiency, productivity, and better creative output. You'll be the type of person who isn't afraid to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and introduce fresh perspectives. Whether that's reviewing resource allocation, improving workflows, reducing bottlenecks, or helping creative teams better utilize their time, you'll play a key role in shaping how the function operates. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys making an immediate impact and leaving organisations in a stronger position than when they arrived.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
