Labcorp is seeking a Study Director to join our team at Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday – 37hrs

Job Responsibilities

  • Providing Study Direction of in vitro Genetic Toxicology studies in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements
  • Responsibility for the overall design, scientific and technical conduct of Genetic Toxicology studies, including interpretation, analysis, documentation and reporting of results
  • Further responsibilities include developing an external scientific profile, client specific relationships, and the management of novel assay types or technical science improvement initiatives
  • Liaising with internal and external customers to ensure prompt and proper action on all aspects of the study plans for studies assigned
  • Attending and, where appropriate, assisting in key elements of the work of assigned studies including monitoring progress and status
  • Participating in study-specific client visits as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in Biomedical Science, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Genetics, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Immunology, Biotechnology, Biosciences

Additional Job Standards

  • Worked within genetic toxicology or safety assessment and have GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) knowledge
  • Worked as a Study Director or in a monitoring role
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication, time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple studies
  • Attention to detail and consistent accuracy whilst managing multiple changing priorities
  • This is an office based role
  • Excellent relocation package (subject to criteria)
