Paid Groomer (Dog Stylist) – Full-time
Salary: £13.10 - £13.10 per hour (with commission) Hours: Full-time | 39 contract hours Location: Pets at Home Pet Care Centre, 13 Forge Retail Park, 71 Biggar Street, Glasgow G31 4BH Contract: Permanent
About the Role
At Pets at Home, pets are our priority. Our Pet Care Centres combine grooming, retail, and veterinary care to ensure every pet receives the best possible experience. We’re looking for a talented, Dog Stylist / Groomer to join our team, delivering exceptional grooming services while creating meaningful relationships with pet owners.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role with real opportunities to grow your skills and career in pet care.
The Responsibilities (Your Impact)
- Provide high-quality, precision grooming for dogs with care and attention to detail.
- Build strong relationships with pet owners, ensuring they leave with happy, well-groomed pets.
- Work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment, supporting efficiency and CRM targets (experience with targets is a bonus).
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming salon environment.

About You (What We’re Looking For)
We’re seeking a dedicated, high-energy Dog Stylist with the following strengths:
- A strong grooming qualification, or ongoing certification.
- Customer-focused mentality – you make pet owners feel valued and informed.
- Flexibility, teamwork, and adaptability in a dynamic salon setting.
- Passion for pets and professionalism in all customer interactions.
Previous experience in target-driven environments is beneficial but not essential.
