Subcontract Administrator
Subcontract Administrator – Worsley
Department: Finance | Compensation: £28,000 / Year
About the Role
As a Subcontract Administrator, you will support the Subcontract Ledger Team to ensure seamless weekly processes, managing subcontractors and payments. This role requires close collaboration with finance and commercial teams while maintaining professional relationships with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Work within the team to support daily subcontract ledger operations
- Process weekly subcontract certifications
- Conduct weekly checks on key controls, including:
- Subcontractor insurances
- Contract compliance
- Payment terms validity
- Collaborate with commercial and finance teams to resolve invoice-related queries
- Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks, including:
- ERP posting
- Online document management requests
- Establish and foster professional yet friendly relationships with supplier finance departments

Requirements & Qualifications
Experience & Skills
- Accounts payable experience is advantageous
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work effective as part of a team
- Strong organisation, self-motivation, and planning skills
- Excellent communication with a rapport for building professional but friendly relationships over the phone
