Senior Supply Chain Manager - Purchasing & Project Support (Marshall Land Systems)

You’ll be joining a cross-functional project team as a Purchasing & Supply Chain Team Member, working alongside project roles to:
- Manage and report on all supplier and subcontractor delivery performance (cost, quality, and delivery).
- Ensure material costs stay within budget limits and supplier/subcontractor compliance meets contractual requirements.
- Identify risk mitigation strategies to safeguard project delivery.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Manage supplier relationships: Build, maintain, and strengthen partnerships with all key project, business, and functional stakeholders.
- Contractual alignment: Ensure clarity between Marshall and suppliers on:
- Key contractual deliverables
- Documentation (e.g., Terms & Conditions, Statement of Work, Schedule of Requirements)
- Supplier engagement: Facilitate regular project reviews involving all relevant functional leaders.
- Compliance enforcement: Address supplier non-compliance with contract terms, seeking Bid Procurement Team or Category Team support as needed.
- Risk monitoring: Track and regularly review supply chain risks against the programme timeline.
- Performance reporting:
- Provide monthly subcontractor performance updates to Head of Subcontract Management and project managers.
- Deliver weekly 4-Box reports (SOFT: Successes, Opportunities, Failures, Threats) to project teams.
- Financial oversight: Validate and approve supplier payments in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Contract enforcement: Ensure all suppliers fulfil their contractual obligations.

Key Requirements
Apply if you possess at least most of the following qualifications and experience:
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Project management awareness (initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure).
- Proven negotiation skills in commercial and supplier relations.
- Sharp commercial acumen with a focus on cost management and contract compliance.
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- At least 5 years of experience in:
- Project management (preferably with subcontractor oversight).
- Supplier management (variety of suppliers/contracts).
- Cross-functional collaboration.
- International supplier relations.
- ERP software knowledge (preferably IFS).
- Preferences for bonus qualifications:
- APM certification (advantageous).
- CIPS certification (not essential).
