This is a pivotal leadership opportunity to drive the success of our EyeQ marketplace for our GXO Group, building engagement with suppliers to build our network. Reporting to the Head of Planning & Subcontracting, you’ll lead a team of three and will be accountable for marketplace deployment, haulier onboarding, compliance, API integration, product development, and commercial performance.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity based in our Nottingham site (NG9 6RY) with travel. Working Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00.
Pay, benefits, and more:
- We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £68,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead the continued growth and adoption of the EyeQ Marketplace platform, transitioning subcontract spend onto the system while delivering growth and performance targets.
- Own haulier onboarding, supplier integration, and API connectivity, ensuring operational readiness, compliance, and seamless platform engagement.
- Drive product development, platform enhancements, and digital integration initiatives, aligning operational needs with customer and commercial objectives.
- Manage commercial performance through pricing strategy, revenue growth, KPI ownership, operational governance, and continuous process improvement.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders while leading and developing a high-performing team across onboarding, support, and analytics functions.

What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Proven leadership within transport, logistics, control tower, or digital platform operations, with strong knowledge of UK haulage networks and subcontracting.
- Commercially astute with experience in pricing strategies, revenue and margin management, digital freight marketplaces, and driving large-scale platform adoption.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to influence and collaborate effectively across operations, commercial, IT/product teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Data-driven and technology-focused, with experience using TMS platforms (ideally Ortec), reporting tools such as Power BI, and exposure to API integrations, system implementation, and project delivery.
- Strategic, resilient, and action-oriented leader who develops high-performing teams, drives continuous improvement, and thrives in fast-paced, evolving digital environments.
