Subcontract Administrator – Advanced Manufacturing

About the Role
You will be responsible for contracting standard to complex professional and/or construction services in Advanced Manufacturing. As the Subcontract Administrator, you’ll take a leading role on smaller projects (with a Total Installed Cost of $50M or less) while applying best practices and expertise to resolve issues autonomously with minimal oversight.
In this role, you’ll conduct procurement transactions, ensure task efficiency, and integrate procurement seamlessly with project functions—adhering to company policies and delivering high-impact results.
This position reports directly to the Director of Supply Management, Advanced Manufacturing (AM) and indirectly to the Project Procurement Manager (PPM), Project Manager, or Construction Manager for assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and issuance of Request for Proposal (RFP) packages
- Administration of bid packages throughout the bid cycle
- Hosting and coordinating pre-bid meetings with bidders and project teams
- Review and receipt of proposals
- Tabulating and organizing proposals
- Conducting clarification meetings with bidders and project stakeholders
- Preparing commercial bid evaluations
- Negotiating terms and conditions with bidders, with final agreements coordinated through the legal department
- Routing award documentation for procurement among project teams
- Drafting subcontract award documents and issuing them to successful bidders
- Managing pre-award meetings
- Processing and managing subcontractor invoices
- Overseeing change orders and risks, including asserting against disputes and claims
- Performing subcontract close-out activities

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, construction, supply chain, operations management, or equivalent project experience
- 4+ years of experience in subcontracting and contract management
- 2-5 years preferred in Biopharmaceutical/Life Science Manufacturing or Data Center projects
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office tools, particularly MS Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Capacity to excel in fast-paced environments
- Problem-solving and organizational skills with a drive to tackle complex challenges
Desired Experience & Qualities
Experience on medium to large EPCM projects

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $75,300.00–$103,500.00, based on factors such as work location, skills, experience, and education.
