The Role

As Manufacturing Planning Manager at Roke, you’ll be the primary liaison between cross-departmental teams and external stakeholders to ensure on-time, accurate manufacturing deliveries. This is a critical position that requires strong planning skills, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to mitigate risks at every stage of production.

Primary Job Purpose:

  • Ensure all customer product orders are delivered On-Time-In-Full (OTIF)
  • Plan product build demands in collaboration with Production Planners and Project Managers
  • Raise external requirements for subcontractors and suppliers, liaising to achieve OTIF
  • Liaise with Sales and Programme Management to align production planning across the business
  • Work with Supply Chain to ensure supplier delivery plans are in place, negotiating timelines and managing expectations

Key Responsibilities

  • Material and Supply Planning:
    • Interpret ERP/MRP (Enterprise Resource Planning) requirements and drive subcontractor orders placement
    • Collaborate with Supply Chain to raise purchase requisitions timely, ensuring material deliveries meet production schedules
    • Monitor job status and performance in partnership with production and procurement, planning mitigations proactively

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
