Subcontracts Manufacturing Manager

Join a world-class technology and engineering consultancy as a Subcontracts Manufacturing Manager and play a pivotal role in delivering innovative solutions that protect what matters most.

In this dynamic position, you will oversee the planning and execution of subcontracted manufacturing processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery of complex electronic and electromechanical products. Your strategic oversight will help drive efficiency, optimise supplier relationships, and maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience in Manufacturing Planning and Supply Chain environments
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (experience with IFS is a plus)
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques
  • Excellent communication skills, including working with senior executives
  • Ability to interpret ERP/MRP requirements and drive subcontractor orders
  • Proven ability to manage work-in-progress, inventory, and stock takes

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Degree qualified, preferably with a strong background in manufacturing or supply chain management
  • Prior experience working in electronics manufacturing is highly advantageous

  • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving capabilities
  • Eligibility to achieve SC security clearance
