With traditional energy such as oil and gas needing to become more sustainable and the world looking to alternative energy sources, our subcontracts team are at the forefront of this energy transition for clients (who are some of the biggest names in the industry – BP, Shell, Aramco, Total…)

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our 2-year Apprentice scheme based in Leatherhead, Surrey.

  • You should relish problem solving, have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, be enthusiastic to learn new skills and potentially keen to travel.
  • As an Apprentice, you would join our team and get to be part of some amazing projects.

Requirements

You will need to have achieved:

  • GCSE's in both English and Maths
  • 3 A'Levels

Right to Work in the UK

  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK. We are unable to offer sponsorship.

Which qualification will you study?

The successful candidate will attend a local college on day release to a complete Level 6 Chartered Manager degree. This will form part of a structured learning program part of the Management & Administration Skill Set. The remaining four days will be spent learning on the job at KBR. KBR will provide extra support if needed for apprentices to complete their college assignments.

What would you be doing?

The prime responsibilities of Subcontracts is to how to work in the Supply Chain function to review, qualify, award and manage subcontractors in a range of different energy and infrastructure sectors. In order to meet the successful execution criteria of a project.

  • The Apprentice will gain sufficient experience under each section in order to obtain experience and knowledge to work on more detailed complex projects, utilising a variety of different resources.
