Role Summary
We are looking for Subject Matter Experts in a range of healthcaresectorto write and review Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for professional certifications.Our client requires exams to assess competence and expertisebefore granting a license to work in a particular country.
We will supply the content areas, relevant reference material and training. You will ensure that all questions and material written for tests are high quality, technically correct and have suitable reference material.

This is a remote, contract position for a current project development from June 2026 – December 2026.
We are looking for Subject Matter Experts in the following areas:
Medical
Dentistry
Clinical Psychologist
Medical Laboratory Technologist
Sonographer
Endodontics
Oral Surgery
Orthodontics
Pediatric Dentistry
Periodontics
Prosthodontics
Prosthetics and Orthotics Technician and Technologist
Responsibilities/Typical Tasks
Working with Pearson Content Developers and fellow Subject Matter Experts
Writing MCQ items
Reviewing MCQ items
Commenting on the appropriateness of sector/subject content within the qualification(s)/unit(s)
Essential
Must have5+ years of experience of healthcare in Australia or New Zealand

Must be based in Australia or New Zealand
Desirable
You have written and/or quality assured educational materials and are adept at reviewing and assisting in quality assurance of educational materials.
Experience/qualifications needed
You must be qualified in the subject area you would like to work on.
Have good written communication skills particularly in your sector/subject area of choice
Confident use of IT
Ability to follow a brief and meet deadlines
