Subscriptions Growth Delivery Manager - Project Manager (up to £65,000) – 12 Months Maternity Cover

About the Role
The Subscriptions Growth Delivery Manager will play a central role in driving the successful execution of key subscription growth initiatives. Reporting into the Strategic Delivery Lead, this position involves coordinating cross-functional programmes across Marketing, Brand, and Product & Tech teams while ensuring alignment with strategic growth objectives.
Ideal candidates are highly organised, commercially astute, and capable of working across multiple stakeholders. They must confidently manage overlapping priorities, lead complex workstreams, and keep projects progressing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate cross-functional subscription growth programmes across Marketing, Brand, and Product & Tech teams
- Own programme delivery timelines, ensuring initiatives are effectively prioritised, tracked, and aligned with growth strategies
- Facilitate cross-team meetings and working sessions to synthesise inputs and drive alignment
- Develop and maintain roadmaps with clear visibility of milestones, dependencies, and risks
- Support coordinated campaign and product launches across multiple projects
- Own programme reporting, including dashboards, OKR tracking, and delivery governance
- Translate performance and commercial data into actionable insights for stakeholders and leadership
- Create and maintain clear delivery plans, ensuring activities, owners, and deadlines are tracked effectively
- Manage multiple projects concurrently while keeping priorities aligned
- Identify and mitigate potential delivery challenges, collaborating with stakeholders for resolutions
- Ensure decisions, actions, and next steps are communicated clearly
- Continuously review processes to improve collaboration and efficiency

Requirements
Proven experience in:
- Project or programme management in a fast-paced commercial, product, or marketing environment
- Understanding of subscription models is highly advantageous, along with publishing experience
- Quick onboarding in unfamiliar business models or requirements
- Translating strategic goals into roadmaps, governance, and delivery plans
- Strong cross-functional stakeholder management, ensuring influence without direct authority
- High-level organisation, attention to detail, and capability for delivery tracking
- Managing roadmaps, timelines, and project prioritisation across teams
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills (both written and verbal)
- Commercially literate with ability to understand performance data’s business impact
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in activity execution
- Collaborative, personable, and self-confident, with a focus on building effective relationships
