SuccessFactors Configuration & Solutions - Assistant Manager
Base Location
London, Birmingham, or Manchester with willingness to travel up to 80% for client engagements
About the Role
The KPMG People Practice function is a cornerstone of our business. We do work that matters to our local business and communities – supporting technical innovation and adoption of cutting-edge solutions across our growing SuccessFactors Team. Working on complex engagements, this team is responsible for the delivery of cutting-edge technical solutions and is trusted to get it right first time.

Within KPMG’s highly successful People practice, we’re working with our clients to help them understand how Cloud-based HCM technologies can improve all aspects of the employee lifecycle which will support and help to improve overall business performance. We are looking for outstanding consultants to join us, grow with us, and develop our SuccessFactors team, whilst deliver against our strategy through large-scale transformation programmes.
As the growth of our People practice continues, we are looking for Solution Leads who have experience of designing processes, configuring the solution, and technically integration/data migrations in SuccessFactors to join our team.
What will you be doing?
Workstream Delivery
- Demonstrate the ability to take ownership for specific parts of one or more functional workstreams, including running client workshops and configuration SAP SuccessFactors Modules.
- Experienced with working collaboratively with clients and supporting them along the journey through a finance transformation.

Stakeholder Interaction & Challenges
- Experience of working effectively with senior client representatives, including global process owners and senior business stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal, team building, organisational, and client collaboration skills.
- Strong presentation skills and able to positively influence client and internal stakeholders, including supporting ongoing opportunity pursuits and presenting at client orals.
Impact, Risk, Accountability & Governance
- Well versed with project management and governance, including management of project plans, status reports, issues, risks, assumptions, and managing scope.
- Experience with presenting solution position papers and points of view to client forums such as a Design Authority.
What will you need to do it?
- Our candidates should have strong commercial acumen, hunger to learn and develop, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and presentation skills with well-developed analytical skills and the ability to provide clarity to complex issues, and synthesize large amounts of information.
- Experience in a functional and/or technical role in a business or systems delivery environment, preferably in more than one sector.
- Experience producing project deliverables (business requirements, functional specs, configuration document, process flows, use cases, requirements traceability matrices, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal, team building, organisational, and motivational skills.
- An awareness of key delivery methodologies, approaches, and market trends in the industry.
- Certifications in multiple SAP SuccessFactors Modules.
