Fixed Term Contract Dates Start Date: ASAP End Date: 3rd September 2026 Responsibilities As an Accommodation Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and delivering an outstanding experience for every guest. Your responsibilities will include: Reception & Administration Warmly welcome guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, and handle essential administrative tasks to keep everything running seamlessly. Customer Service Excellence Be the friendly face of Destiny Student—providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. Reservations & Payments Process bookings and payments accurately, ensuring a hassle-free experience for every guest. Guest Relations Respond to inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and go the extra mile to enhance guest satisfaction. Sales & Upselling Promote tours and additional products to help guests make the most of their stay. Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate records, including handovers, maintenance logs, lost property, and guest interactions. Housekeeping Support Assist with linen management, bed-making, and cleaning rooms, bathrooms, and kitchens and common areas. Ensure all departures are prepared for new arrivals. Occasionally, you may help with minor maintenance tasks like unblocking toilets or showers. Building Setup & Breakdown Support the setup and dismantling of accommodation spaces for arrivals and departures. Health & Safety Compliance Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff. Requirements We’re looking for enthusiastic team players with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude. Here’s what will help you succeed in this role: Team Collaboration & People Skills Work well with others and build strong rapport with both guests and colleagues. Friendly & Professional Demeanour Balance efficiency with warmth, especially during busy reception periods. Reliability & Work Ethic Show great timekeeping, resilience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Customer Service Mindset Handle guest concerns calmly and positively, always aiming for the best solution. Tech Savvy Comfortable with daily computer tasks, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and general IT skills. Ability to adapt to new software quickly. Strong Communication Skills Clear and effective communication with guests and internal teams is essential. Language Skills Fluent English (spoken, written, and reading) is required. Additional languages such as Spanish, Italian, French, German, or Cantonese are a plus. Job Outline Contract Type: fixed-term contract Hours: Minimum 24 hours per week, typically 30–40 hours Shift Work: Rotating shifts, including nights. Your schedule will be provided at least one week in advance. Weekend Availability: Required to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest service.
