Summer Auditor - 3-month temporary contract

Description

We're Civica and we make software that helps deliver critical services for citizens all around the world. From local to state government, to education, to health and care, over 5,000 public bodies across the globe use our software to help provide critical services to over 100 million citizens.

Our aspiration is to be a GovTech champion everywhere we work around the globe, supporting the needs of citizens and those that serve them every day. Building on 21 years of continuous growth and success, we're at a pivotal point on our journey to realise that aspiration.

Why you will love this opportunity as Summer Auditor at Civica

You'll love working as a Summer Auditor at Civica because the role combines travel, independence, and hands-on work in the education sector. You'll be out on the road visiting schools across the UK, which means no two days look the same. Instead of being tied to a desk, you'll get the chance to explore different locations, meet a wide range of people, and experience how schools operate behind the scenes. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys variety and doesn't mind travel as part of their routine. The role itself is practical and rewarding. Using the Civica Education System, you'll recreate each school's site digitally, ensuring that rooms, layouts, and assets are accurately reflected. You'll be responsible for logging and auditing items within classrooms and other spaces, giving you a clear sense of ownership over your work and its accuracy. There's a satisfying, methodical element to it, perfect for someone who enjoys detail-oriented tasks and seeing a project come together.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
