Role Overview
The Commercial Marketing Intern will support the marketing team in delivering multi-channel campaigns that promote the company’s products and brand. The placement offers hands-on exposure to commercial marketing activities including campaign coordination, customer insights, digital marketing, and brand communications.
During the internship, the successful candidate will gain practical experience working with cross-functional teams while learning how marketing contributes to customer acquisition, engagement, and retention within a direct-to-consumer business environment.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Support
- Assist with planning and coordinating marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.
- Help prepare marketing briefs, promotional materials, and campaign assets.
- Support the delivery of integrated campaigns across email, social media, web, and print.
Market and Customer Insights
- Conduct basic research on market trends, competitors, and customer behaviour.
- Assist in analysing campaign performance metrics and customer data.
- Help prepare simple reports or presentations summarising marketing insights.

Digital Marketing Assistance
- Support the digital team with website updates, landing pages, and online content.
- Assist in drafting content for social media posts, email marketing, or website articles.
- Learn how digital marketing channels contribute to customer acquisition and brand awareness.
Brand and Content Support
- Help ensure marketing materials align with the company’s brand guidelines.
- Support the creation or organisation of marketing assets such as images, copy, or templates.
- Assist with promotional activities related to new product launches or seasonal campaigns.
Product Marketing Support
- Assist in developing and improving products within the vitamin and sports nutrition ranges.
- Assist in monitoring the competitor landscape.
- Gain insight into product positioning and pricing strategies.
Team Collaboration
- Work with different teams including digital marketing, brand marketing, and product teams.
- Participate in marketing meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Provide administrative and organisational support for ongoing marketing projects.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the placement, interns will gain:

Skills And Attributes
- Strong interest in marketing, business, or communications.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Curiosity about consumer behaviour, branding, and digital marketing.
Ideal Candidate
This placement is suitable for students or early-career individuals who want to gain insight into a commercial marketing environment, particularly within the health, wellbeing, or consumer products industry.
As the placement is short-term and project-based, interns may not necessarily gain exposure to, or hold responsibility for, all of the areas outlined above. The specific focus areas of the internship will depend on current business priorities and team projects.
Preferred areas of exposure or interest may be discussed during the interview process and confirmed at the offer stage where possible.
