Role Description
We're looking for a Summer Marketing Intern who thrives on freedom, not a fixed script. This isn't a role where you'll be handed a checklist every morning — it's one where you'll be asked to think, propose, and build.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You'll spend the summer developing marketing strategy from the ground up, with the day-to-day shaped largely by you. That means researching what works, testing ideas, and pulling it all together into a pitch deck presenting your marketing strategy and recommendations to the team.
As part of this, we're especially excited to have someone explore how UinTales can expand beyond the app — specifically, into the children's clothing market. If you can see the connective tissue between a reading platform for kids and a wearable brand extension, we want to hear how you'd approach it.
Alongside this core project, you'll:
- Conduct market and competitor research to sharpen our positioning
- Prepare reports on user trends and engagement
- Craft digital content for social media, email, and other channels
- Support light sales outreach and partnership conversations
- Respond to user inquiries and gather customer feedback
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to refine messaging and improve the user experience
This is a hands-on opportunity to shape real strategy for a growing EdTech company — not just execute someone else's plan.

- Solid grounding in market research and marketing strategy — comfortable analysing audience needs, evaluating competitors, and shaping campaign ideas
- Foundational sales and marketing skills to support outreach, promote key features, and assist with user acquisition and retention
- A creative mindset with the initiative to build strategy independently, rather than needing a set task list
- Bonus: familiarity with social media platforms, basic data analysis (spreadsheets/analytics tools), and a genuine interest in EdTech or children's learning
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate well in a remote setting
What You'll Gain
Real ownership over a strategic project, direct exposure to EdTech growth marketing, and the experience of presenting your own pitch deck to a founding team — all while contributing to a mission that reaches families and young learners across the UK.
