This Summer Internship at Civica offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of a leading technology business. Over four weeks, you'll work alongside experienced professionals, learning how software products are developed, supported, enhanced, and brought to market. You'll contribute to real business activities such as user acceptance testing, designing new product functionality, creating knowledge articles, and building sales proposals and product demonstrations. The role provides excellent exposure to the full product lifecycle while helping you develop valuable technical, commercial, and communication skills. Most importantly, you'll see how Civica's technology supports organizations such as libraries, schools, local authorities, and the NHS, giving you the chance to make a meaningful impact while exploring a variety of potential career paths in technology.

Requirements
What You Will Do to Be Successful in This Role
Responsibilities:
- Work with a software analyst to understand the process of fixing support issues.
- Working with a development team, performing software User Acceptance Testing.
- Working with the Product Management team designing new functionality for our solutions.
- Assisting with documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Build a sales proposal and product demonstration.
Requirements:
- The ability to learn and adapt to changes in the suite of products we develop & support.
- Good communication skills.
- Work under own initiative.
- A real interest in understanding how a Software company works and how AI is helping drive transformative initiatives.
