Flexibility deserves recognition – and we deliver. As a Superflex Patrol Roadside Mechanic, you’ll provide the adaptability our service relies on, earning a competitive salary and the variety of a truly dynamic role.
About the Role
- Salary: £50,669 per annum, with the opportunity to earn up to £57,000
- Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week spread across the year
- Roster: Provided seven days in advance, with core hours confirmed three days ahead
- Shifts: Covering 06:00–02:00, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
Location
This role covers the East Kilbride cluster, including:
- East Kilbride
- Hamilton
- Rutherglen
- Cambuslang
- Blantyre
- Bothwell
You’ll perform all work locally to your home.
Responsibilities
###Core Duties:
- Breakdown Response: Quickly restoring members back onto the road in your local area
- Technical Problem Solving: Strong diagnostic skills for electrical, mechanical, and electrical faults
- Self-Management:
- Maintain your own tools, diagnostic kit, and van supplies
- Manage and submit accurate call-out reports
- Customer Focus: Provide exceptional service in challenging situations
- Adaptability: Handle diverse tasks from routine repairs to overnight stays if necessary

Requirements
- Qualifications:
- Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience in technical, electrical, and diagnostic diagnostics
- Customer Service:
- Approachable, empathetic, and quick to solve problems
- Travel & Licensing:
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel flexibly, including overnight stays when required
