Superintendent Pharmacist
Location: Reading Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 + 30% Bonus + Relocation Package

The Role
As Superintendent Pharmacist, you will hold complete professional responsibility for pharmacy operations, leading governance across a large-scale Schedule 2 Controlled Drugs business.

Working closely with the executive team, you will:
- Navigate complex regulation and make high-impact decisions
- Lead inspections
- Develop governance frameworks
- Ensure the organisation continues to operate safely, compliantly, and commercially
This isn’t a role for someone who simply follows regulations—we’re looking for someone who can interpret them, challenge conventional thinking, and build smarter ways of working.
What We’re Looking For
- GPhC Registered Pharmacist
- Strong understanding of UK pharmacy legislation and Controlled Drugs regulations
- Experience in senior pharmacy leadership or governance
- Commercial awareness with excellent judgement
- Comfortable making difficult decisions and taking ownership
- Ambitious enough to step into a Superintendent role, if you haven’t held the title before
