About The Role
As a Supermarket Assistant, you’ll help create a difference that customers remember on every visit. By delivering our Partner-led service and our passion for food, you’ll set ourselves apart from competitors. As a passionate Partner serving food lovers, we rely on your enthusiasm and dedication to:

Key Responsibilities
Aside from delivering outstanding customer service, you’ll contribute to smooth and efficient operations by supporting key shopkeeping tasks:
- Stock replenishment: Ensure shelves stay fully stocked and products are correctly placed for easy customer access.
- Online order fulfilment: Process online orders to enable our delivery drivers to ship goods directly to customers’ doors.
- Wastage reduction: Apply product lifecycle due diligence, implement markdowns, and ensure prompt disposal of items nearing sell-by dates.
- Team support: Assist with checkout operations, manage Click & Collect orders, fulfil on-demand orders, and support other team needs as required.
- Maintenance & tidiness: Keep the shop clean, organised, and safe for both customers and colleagues.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong communication skills to work effectively as part of a tight-knit team and with customers.
Desirable Skills & Experience
Having worked in a customer-facing role is advantageous but not essential. Demonstrating the following will also add substantial value:
- Passion for fresh food and drink trends, with an active interest in keeping up to date.
- Flexibility to adapt to, and support, the needs of your shop and team when required.
